Christmas!
Another Year, another turn to go into debt....are you excited?
Good Luck trying to convince the Family of a simpler time and way to celebrate...think it could not be done? There is only one way to find out!
What are some Traditions you loved when growing up? You recall the scents of the Season that got you to look forward to Family time? Did you go to a Lot to buy a Tree, or pulled one out of the Box after sifting through storage? Was hanging the Ornaments a special time? Sure all these parts of the Season are man-made but gave this time of year a special touch. You remember the hand made Ornaments you brought home having been lovingly displayed year after year? (20 years and counting). While all these memories build up in your mind, what about the presents? Oh sure, who wants a wooden train set anymore (to bad, they are super much fun and stand the test of Time, unlike all the chinese electronic toys (a supposed must have....and the Stock holders are rubbing their hands together...tscha tching). Is the crazy expense of an X-Box really worth the 1 minute tear down of the box? If you ask the Kids they will give you a resounding Yes. So you go lightly on the big things....If you went shopping as Family and then wrapped a present and dropped it off at a Salvation Army, how would that feel?
Deep down did you not ever think to create a new Tradition to pass on to your Family? How about to carry on a Tradition or two?
Well here is your chance....it is Christmas once again!!
If you don't lead the way with taking the Season back to what really matters, Love, Joy and Happiness, along with celebrating Life....then who will? And crazy to think that the Kids would be alright....well they would be. Kids in fact are our shining examples of understanding more and more what matters. Give them a chance to think of a way to bestow an act of Kindness onto the World and you will be floored at their level of creativity, not limited to any kind of number or Season.
And while you are at it, create a hot cocoa mix with healthy ingredients and then sit together and find yourself thinking "this is good" on both accounts.
Now it is your turn to come up with all other parts of what Christmas is really all about. The economy will be fine too, because not everyone has the same view...and if a Miracle should happen and they do....well the Stockholders would support new Products for selling, accommodating the Market changes for here is a secret....they will work hard to create something we will purchase...that's why all the stuff exist now, because previously we had been told what we should want...Time for change!!!!
